Dr. Malik was a fantastic Clinical Supervisor. He was very keen for us as juniors to be involved in all aspects of the patient’s care – and provided lots of supervised opportunities to lead consultations on the ward round, make medical management decisions and participate in the MDT fully. He was very encouraging of getting involved in QI projects, and facilitated this. He was keen to provide comprehensive feedback on workplace-based assessments. On top of this, he is a fantastic Doctor, professional and always friendly. He is a compassionate leader and has a warm and generous personality. He made the placement very enjoyable, and the only sadness is that he was off the ward for quite a number of weeks at the latter end of the placement.
